I've been nominated for a Voice Arts Award by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences 🤯
The funny thing is, my nomination technically has nothing to do with my voice 😅
I'm up in the category 🌟 Best Voiceover Website - English 🌟
And I'm actually really thrilled about that, because I invested significant amounts of time, energy and money into my website.
So to have my hard work recognised by the judges really means a lot. ❤️
Voice Arts Awards
VOX Awards
Well, this is lovely 🥰
This was my first year of getting my act together and submitting for the VOX awards, so I'm really chuffed to have snapped up a cheeky nomination.
"Best Female Voiceover Performance of the Year"
I am in the best company in that list of nominees.
Some incredible talents, some friends and some absolute industry giants!
It's a total honour to make the shortlist.
Better look into my travel arrangements....
Brazen Blaze VR
The 3v3 VR game BRAZEN BLAZE was released, and I got to voice the Swiss-German badass SKYBOLT.
This was such a fun game to work on.
Skybolt is insanely high-energy and just constantly wants to blow stuff up.
The sessions with Joanna Green at SIDE were hilarious and exhausting in equal measures 😅
Thanks as always to my lovely Emily Dean at Voicefox.
OVC Dallas August 2024!
When I decided to take my Voice Acting business to "the next level" last year, I wrote a list of goals for the next 5 years.
One of those goals was to be invited to speak at one of the Voice Acting conferences.
Well, here we bloody go! 😍
I am so very excited to head to Dallas in August to speak at this year's One Voice Conference.
It is such an honour to be on the speakers list amongst some of my heroes and I'm counting down the days until I hop on that plane to Texas 🤠
Develop: Brighton 2024
Well it would be rude not to!
I moved to Brighton last year, so now one of the most exciting Video Game conferences is right on my door step!
From Tuesday to Thursday, I will be running around Develop Conference (and the various mixers and parties attached to it... 😏 )
Come say hi if you spot me!
Unbelievable!
I am still in complete shock to have won not one but TWO One Voice Awards last week.
I managed to snag the trophy for best female demo for my English animation demo, directed by the legend that is Lori Alan and produced by Susan Palyo at Voice Trax West, LA.
Utterly unbelievably, I also won the award for Female Voiceover Artist of the Year.
The judges received over 5000 entries this year. Even to be shortlisted in 3 categories was an incredible honour, but to win these two awards is absolutely mind-blowing and motivates me to work even hard and reach for even bigger goals in the coming year.
One Voice Awards 2024
I am absolutely thrilled that, for the third year in a row, I have made the shortlist of the UK One Voice Awards.
This year, I am nominated in three categories: Best Female Demo (for my animation demo), Best Outtake and, mindblowingly, Female Voice Over Artist of the Year!
I almost didn’t submit for the latter and am absolutely astonished to have made the shortlist alongside some incredible talent.
The ceremony will take place on the 18th of May in London. What colour suit am I going to wear…?
See you in Atlanta!
It's not an exaggeration to say that my first trip to VO Atlanta last year changed my life.
So it was an absolute no-brainer when it came to deciding whether I should go again.
It's a BIG expense, but it's oh so worth it.
If you're also going, come say hello if you spot me!
The Gedanken Experiment
These past few months, I have been recording for the pilot of an exciting new animated series, called “The Gedanken Experiment”.
I play D.A.I.S.I.E., the AI of the hero’s spaceship and it’s been such a fun part to sink my teeth into. Daisie is much more human than one might expect from an AI…
The process of recording the voices has been so much fun and I can’t wait to see what the animators will come up with. Stay tuned…
Love in Lapland
In time for Christmas, the French feature film “Coup de Foudre à Noël” was released in Germany.
The German dubbed version “Schlittenfahrt ins Weihnachtsglück” was produced by FDR Studios in London and I had the honour of voicing the female lead, Charlotte.
It’s a cute and funny Romcom and getting to lend my voice to the wonderful French actress Julie de Bona was an absolute delight.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
This one was a biggie!
I am SO excited to share that I voice the French netrunner Aurore Cassel in the CYBERPUNK 2077 expansion PHANTOM LIBERTY.
I recorded the part from July 2022 to February 2023 at SIDE UK, directed by the marvellous Justin Villiers.
This was one of the most challenging and most exciting gigs of my career to date.
Aurore is fun and flirty and a badass. Turns out, she’s a bit of a fan favourite, too.
