The purest form of Voice Acting
Radio plays, fiction podcasts, more and more audiobooks being produced as ensemble pieces. The demand for audio drama is as high as ever. And I could not be more excited about that.
Acting for audio dramas is one of my favourite areas of the voice acting world. Coming from a theatre background, there is just nothing like the connection you make when acting in the same room (physical or virtual) with other actors.
Those little spontaneous miracles that only happen when actors are listening to and feeding off each other.
Finding the truth in a character and telling beautiful stories is why I became an actor in the first place. Acting in audio drama feels like going back to this purest form of acting.
If you have an audio drama project that I might be right for, drop me a line and I’ll be happy to record an audition for you.
My first ever Audio Drama role was playing the Austrian scientist Zsa Zsa Strauss in Doctor Who “The Jabari Countdown” for BigFinish Productions, all the way back in 2018.
I had the pleasure of voicing the young German woman Heike in “Wulf” in The new adventures of Bernice Summerfield, for which I won the One Voice Award 2023 for Best Female Performance in an Audio Drama.
In January 2024, I was back in the studio at Big Finish for yet another Dr. WHO episode. I cannot wait to share this one once it’s out!
